We welcome Women World Champion Hou Yifan to the Reykjavik Open 2012 !

The Canadian Grandmaster Kevin Spraggett wrote in an articel in August 2011:

Hou Yifan is clearly a head better than her rivals.  The quality of her games is exceptional.  I have no doubt that she will soon break 2700.  Probably 2800 within a couple of years , if she is able to continue improving at the rate she is.  Wouldn't it be great to have a woman become the absolute World Champion?
