Schedule

Rate of play is 90 min. + 30 minutes after 40 moves. Increment of 30 sec. for every move.

Venue: Headquarters of Reykjavik Chess Club at Faxafen 12

Fee: GM/IM: none,  FM: 5.000 ISK  others: 10.000 ISK

Financial conditions: Free accommodation for players over 2300 ELO (max: one per federation - two player if they share room).

Prizes:  1:  75.000 ISK,  2:  50.000 ISK  and  3:  25.000.    It is also tradition that the winner of NM gets free accommodation from the organizer of the next World Senior Chess Championship.
